AMBita Project – Gas supply with zero CO2 impact

Color System has joined the AMBita project, a concrete commitment to environmental protection. The project includes the supply of natural gas with fully offset gas emissions.

The marine system is capable of absorbing significant quantities of carbon, retaining it permanently in its seabed, through the photosynthesis of microalgae and phytoplankton, widely present in the Venetian lagoon. This project preserves and, even more, enhances, an ecosystem with a inestimable wildlife value. The maintenance of this balance, crucial for the CO2 absorption process, happens through a careful management that respects the natural life cycles of fish and through a right water exchange, managed by man, consistently with the tides.
