Color System is now widening its offer to include a new line of sustainable masterbatches
/in NewsColor System has added the new Color System Sustainable line to its portfolio. We have created new masterbatches developed with the environment in mind. For this new line we have selected polymers coming from renewable sources or obtained through mechanical and chemical recycling; our objective is to reduce our carbon footprint by avoiding the use of traditional fossil fuel polymers.
The choice of raw material was driven not only by environmental concerns but also by the need to guarantee the regulatory compliance in the most delicate areas, such as food and cosmetic packaging. Furthermore, we can now substitute the traditional masterbatches with the new ones without having to modify any of the production processes.
The masterbatches in the new Color System Sustainable line are also the ideal solution for our clients who already use sustainable polymers. This way we can offer them a concrete opportunity to increase the percentage of sustainable material in their final products.
Color System and ISVE: partnering for a sustainable future

Corporate Carbon Footprint and ESG Excellence certificate
/in NewsColor System has achieved the UNI EN ISO 14064-1 certification for the quantification of organizational Carbon Footprint, in compliance with international standards.
Following this relevant accomplishment, IIP awarded the company the Excellence certificate, recognizing its high level of commitment and leadership in environmental sustainability.
AMBita Project – Gas supply with zero CO2 impact
/in NewsColor System has joined the AMBita project, a concrete commitment to environmental protection. The project includes the supply of natural gas with fully offset gas emissions.
The marine system is capable of absorbing significant quantities of carbon, retaining it permanently in its seabed, through the photosynthesis of microalgae and phytoplankton, widely present in the Venetian lagoon. This project preserves and, even more, enhances, an ecosystem with a inestimable wildlife value. The maintenance of this balance, crucial for the CO2 absorption process, happens through a careful management that respects the natural life cycles of fish and through a right water exchange, managed by man, consistently with the tides.
ISO:45001 certificate and ESG Platinum certificate
/in NewsColor System has always put workplace safety first. On October 23rd, 2024 IIP, the industry certifying office, issued the ISO:45001 certificate to our Company in recognition of having effectively implemented all safety and health protocols. This is the result of the Management’s commitment towards the same goal: an increasingly safer and healthier workplace.
Color System had already received the ESG Gold certificate in the past. And now we were just awarded the new ESG Platinum certificate, proof of having increased even more the level of corporate sustainability.
PMI DAY 2024
/in NewsOn December 6th, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting the 8th-grade students from ICS Bonvesin de la Riva at our headquarters, in collaboration with Confindustria Alto Milanese, to celebrate PMI DAY together.
It was a special moment to share our story, convey our passion for work, and spark the students’ curiosity about the world of business.
At such a crucial time for them, as they are going to choose their high school path, we wanted to offer a glimpse into the future, by showing how dreams and skills can turn into opportunities.
We firmly believe that the future is built today, with the younger generations. We are proud to contribute to inspiring and supporting them on this journey.

New Product in the Range: Chain Extender
/in NewsColor System Spa is pleased to present the new Chain Extender, a product which is a viscosity modifier containing a reactive agent dispersed in a polyolefin resin. Designed to enhance the compatibility of polymer blends and the viscosity of single polymers, it also optimizes the mechanical properties of materials. This product is particularly suitable for polycondensation polymers, such as polyamides. Contact us for more issues.

Thanks to the support of Enterprise European Network Italia and Confindustria Lombardia , we carried out the sustainability assessment by using the ECOMATE tool , that is recognized at European level for measuring the degree of sustainability.
It pointed out the excellent Color System score, which is a starting point of our commitment.
